Early Childhood Teacher
As our second Millie’s House setting is growing, so is our fabulous team and we are welcoming applications for a great early childhood teacher to join us.

We have a position in both our Daly St and Connolly St settings, so an opportunity to think about the type of setting that suits your teaching style and philosophy is open to you.

We are looking for a qualified ECE teacher with enthusiasm, a sense of fun, a deep understanding of how children learn through both intentional teaching and child initiated learning.

Centre Cook
A great early childhood centre cook is the hub and heart of a centre. Known and loved by children, families and teachers, a centre cook has to be one of the most rewarding of kitchen roles available.
If you love happy, busy hives of children and teachers and want to be their heart and soul, providing nutritious and delicious meals, we want to hear from you.
This is a full time role; 35 hours per week, five days a week

Centre Administrator
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator?
You may well be the perfect person to join our friendly team who work closely together to ensure excellent service and support to our children and parents.

This role would suit someone with good time management skills, the confidence to take responsibility for our funding requirements and who likes diversity in their day – our staff will be the first to tell you that no day is the same as the next.

A good command of the English language (both spoken and written) is necessary and knowledge of the Ministry of Education ECE regulations would be an advantage.

The key duties of this role include:
• Record & manage our enrolled children information
• Support our families with WINZ paperwork
• Prepare weekly 20 Hour ECE & WINZ payments
• Help families and staff with funding queries

This position is for 20-30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, on a 6-month fixed term but may have the potential to go permanent in the future.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
