Welcome to our two Wellington City centres. Both small and vibrant centres for 0-5 years olds, where curiosity, exploration, and meaningful relationships are at the heart of our learning and underpin the planning and implementation of children’s learning pathways.
Our centres are both similar and different and choosing which centre suits you will start with your travel direction to and from the city, and will also reflect the particular centre vibe that suits you the most.
What’s important to both our centres are the opportunities for excursions in the city and surrounds. We love our mini trips and the children do too.
We are also proud of our teaching and the learning opportunities we provide for our tamariki within the centres. A visit will show you how both centres plan and what they provide for learning and the fun tamariki have doing it.
We have different approaches to meals. The Basin Reserve centre has a cook who provides all meals for tamariki throughout the day. Our Hopper St centre provide morning, afternoon tea and snacks, and parents bring in the lunch they want their children to eat. We warm it up as and if needed. In both centres, we all eat together.
Both of centres are fairly hidden from street view, which is lovely. You’ll be surprised when you come in, that they both have a lot of space and outdoor areas. Even our Basin Reserve centre onLevel one; the outdoor space is fully outside and the building wraps around it.
What we love most about our centres, is that we are good friends. Kaiako, whanau and tamariki. It’s great to work and play and learn in a space where the day feels positive, fun and rewarding.
Come and visit both our centres. See which one works for you the best.
