Millie’s House is owned and operated by a group of early childhood professionals working together to create a care and learning environment for children that is sustainable as a business and does not compromise on quality care and environments for children that we believe in and promote both as parents and professionals.

Regional Manager for Millie’s House Wellington Region. My husband Patariki and I live in Lower Hutt and have four grown –up children.

I have over 30 years of experience in early childhood education working in both home-based and centre environments and upgraded my qualifications by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in leadership and Professional Development.

I passionately believe that for children to develop to their full potential they need to feel secure in their environment and have strong bonds with their kaiako (teachers). Early childhood is a vital period for the development of the social competency and physical skills that are pre-requisite for children’s further learning. Partnerships between parents/ whānau and teachers are the best way to support this development.
